Using Industry standard decorative knots such as Monkey Fists and Crown Sinnet knots, our Intrinsic Carbon Contact Staves are loved by beginner, intermediate and pro level artists alike.

These knots offer substantial burn times and relatively light weight with a quicker fabrication period than our Premium staves due to their renowned simplicity.

Thanks to our custom-made thicknesses of Carbon Fibre poles and 6085-T6 Aluminium tubing which is precision machined in house to interface perfectly, our contact staves are built for long-lasting stiffness and durability.

Monkey Fist knots remain a beginner staple in fire arts because of the fact that they are especially simple and very low in weight whilst still supplying a generous flame size, making for a perfect starting point in anyone's contact staff journey.

Crown Sinnet knots have been a fire arts industry favourite for generations by virtue of being more durable than Monkey Fists and have the ability able to soak large amounts of fuel. This, when paired with their abundant surface area, provide a very impressive flame that is not for the faint-of-heart.

Ceres Globe Knots are our answer to a big safety concern that we feel Monkey Fists run into the wider they get. At larger sizes, Globe knots simply out rank them for a number of reasons...

1.) Increased surface area results in larger flames with a more spherical shape for better balance and weight distribution.

2.) Having more faces/facets nearly quadruples the number of crossover points, which means greater fuel absorption in the same amount of space, providing a longer burn time.

3.) Smaller faces/facets and more of them provide a vastly improved lifespan from abrasion and over-burn damage.
